Happy holidays, friends.

As a little end-of-year thank you, we have dropped the price of Record of Dissent: Poems of Protest in an Authoritarian Age on Amazon to $4.99 for the entire month of December. That is the absolute minimum price Amazon will allow us to sell the book for, which means this is truly an at-cost holiday sale. This project has never been about profit… if it were, then we are failing miserably! What it has always been about is getting these poems, these voices, and this collective pushback into the world at a moment when it all feels increasingly necessary.

So if you have been meaning to pick up a copy, now is the time. And if you are looking for a couple of stocking stuffers or small gifts for friends who might appreciate a book of protest poetry during the holidays, this makes it easy to do that without spending much at all.

Coming Soon: What We Hold On To

And a quick update. Our next book, What We Hold On To: Poems of Coping, Connection, and Carrying On, is in the final stages. We are hoping to publish it on New Year’s Day, and we are really happy with how it is coming together. Where the first book gathered voices in direct opposition to the authoritarianism of the Trump regime, this new collection is more personal. It leans into how we cope in difficult times, how we carry each other, stay connected, and keep going when the world refuses to slow down.

Just like Record of Dissent, and like every collection of other peoples voices we publish, What We Hold On To will also be available to read online for free, with a high quality PDF download available for free as well, alongside the paperback edition.
